Go Progress Chrome

It has been a fortnight since my last entry. Sorry bout that all you dedicated readers.

So my guitar got a crack in it but is being worked on. At least it is fixable. Apparently it was too dry in my dorm room. Another reason for me to hate this god-forsaken place called Stockbridge. The guitar withdrawl has been pretty severe, but thankful Gran Turismo 4 has taken my mind off of it.

Over Christmas break Pat, A.J., and I recorded one of our jam sessions and I just now finished editing all 2 hours of it so that it is broken up into songs and fits on 1 cd. My bro is making the cover art for it sometime. I let you know when they are avaliable. We are called Joe's Ablation. We are also going to plan a festival this summer up at Pat's Land. More info will be given out in the future.

3 + 1 weeks of college left. woohoo.

This is my bro's, vote on it.

Waste of Paint

I was lying awake like I do every Sunday night, unable to sleep because of sleeping in too late the night before, when a song popped into my head that had guitar and some words that fit it. Sounding original and worth writing down, I get up to play it on the guitar and see how it sounds. I strum the guitar a couple of times and then... SNAP. The G string breaks and I am left with five out of tune strings. Startled by the loud noise and angry at what just happened, I lose focus and the ability to write a song. I take it as a sign and go back to bed more awake and pissed off then I was before. Oh well, it probably would have sounded like a Ben Harper rip-off like everything else I try to write.
